"I have always been inclined to Spirituality and always believed that the Bhaktamar Stotra has miraculous powers. A life incident reinforced this belief, and so I decided to share its importance by simplifying the deeper meaning and sharing key insights.
Dev Guru Dharm ki kripa bani rahe. Om Arham π"
Learn Bhaktamar Stotra with Pramela Jain
The Bhaktamar Stotra is one of the most powerful and sacred compositions in Jain literature β 48 shloks composed by Acharya Mantungaji in devotion to Lord Adinath, the first Tirthankara. Each shlok is a complete universe of meaning β devotional, philosophical, and profoundly transformative when understood deeply.
Pramela Jain has spent years studying the Bhaktamar Stotra in depth β not merely as a recitation, but as a living text with meaning, context, and intention behind every verse. She has simplified its essence in both Hindi and English, making it accessible to anyone who wishes to go beyond chanting and truly understand what they are saying.

The playlist is structured to be followed sequentially, one Shlok at a time:
Step 1 β Start with the Introduction video: The first video in the playlist introduces the series β who composed the Bhaktamar Stotra, why it was composed, and how to approach it as a learner. Watch this before proceeding to the shloks.
Step 2 β Study one shlok at a time: Each subsequent video covers one shlok. For each shlok, Pramela explains:
The Sanskrit text of the shlok
The meaning in Hindi and English
The context β what Acharya Mantungaji was expressing at that moment in his devotion
The impact of reciting it with bhakti and intention
Step 3 β Recite with understanding: Once you have watched the explanation, recite the shlok yourself β slowly, with awareness of its meaning. The difference between chanting and conscious recitation is the difference between sound and prayer.
Step 4 β Revisit and build: Return to earlier shloks periodically. As your understanding deepens, each shlok reveals new layers. The Bhaktamar Stotra is not a text you finish β it is one you grow into.
